Here, where Silvio Pellico spent his last night of freedom before his arrest on his return to Milan, savor the intense flavor of life. Like all great friendships, theirs too was sealed at the lavishly set table, with wines from Lezzeno and Piedmont, food from the lake, and the grand dreams of men who sought to create Italy.
